In addition to being a Specialist Art Teacher with Textiles and any other agreed responsibilities; the 2 i/c Art Design & Technology Faculty has specific responsibilities for assisting the Head of Faculty with the following curriculum areas:
Art, Design Subjects & Media, however these subjects may change due to curriculum demands.
The successful applicant will have:
- At least 2 years experience of teaching across the full age and ability range of a secondary school.
- A record of good to outstanding classroom teaching.
- A proven record as a teacher whose students reach high standards of learning and achievement at all key stages.
- Experience of using a range of strategies to support the teaching and learning of SEND and More Able pupils.
- Experience of curriculum planning in at least one of the subject areas in the faculty.
- Contributed to promoting high quality teaching and learning.

- To be responsible for modelling teaching across the faculty
- To be responsible for monitoring the quality of teaching across the faculty.
- To organise support to ensure that all teaching in the faculty is good or outstanding.
- To organise all internal and external CPD activities within the faculty.
- To ensure the quality of lesson planning is of high quality across the faculty.
