The Headteacher and Governors of this popular and thriving Academy wish to appoint:

  • An AST/Aspiring AST English.
  • 2 i/c Art, Design & Technology Faculty.

 

 

2 i/c Art, Design & Technology Faculty
(Specialising in Teaching Art with Textiles)
TMS + TLR

In addition to being a Specialist Art Teacher with Textiles and any other agreed responsibilities; the 2 i/c Art Design & Technology Faculty has specific responsibilities for assisting the Head of Faculty with the following curriculum areas:
Art, Design Subjects & Media, however these subjects may change due to curriculum demands.

The successful applicant will have:

  • At least 2 years experience of teaching across the full age and ability range of a secondary school.
  • A record of good to outstanding classroom teaching.
  • A proven record as a teacher whose students reach high standards of learning and achievement at all key stages.
  • Experience of using a range of strategies to support the teaching and learning of SEND and More Able pupils.
  • Experience of curriculum planning in at least one of the subject areas in the faculty.
  • Contributed to promoting high quality teaching and learning.

AST/Aspiring AST
English

This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher of English to join a successful faculty and further contribute to the development of teaching within the faculty to ensure that outstanding teaching leads to outstanding achievement.

In addition to having a proven track record of outstanding teaching in English and carrying out any other agreed responsibilities, the holder of this post carries the following specific responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for modelling teaching across the faculty
  • To be responsible for monitoring the quality of teaching across the faculty.
  • To organise support to ensure that all teaching in the faculty is good or outstanding.
  • To organise all internal and external CPD activities within the faculty.
  • To ensure the quality of lesson planning is of high quality across the faculty.

    Deadline for both posts: 04.05.12.
    Interviews week beginning 14.05.12.
