For approaching fifty years Burnt Mill has been proudly serving the people of the new town of Harlow. This history and traditions of our school help to define our identity as one which puts the interests of our young people and their parents at the heart of all that we do. The pride we feel for our school is reflected in a range of features including the curriculum we offer, the learning environment we create, the care and guidance we provide, the uniform we wear and the House system to which every learner belongs. Much as we look forward to the future of learning, we also value the roots of our school, since opening way back in 1962, which keeps us at the centre of our local community.
